The revived "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (opens in new tab)" will return for its twelve-episode 'Final Season' on Friday, Feb. 21, the streaming service Disney Plus (opens in new tab) announced Tuesday morning.
Along with the premiere date (opens in new tab), Disney Plus is also showing off a new trailer (opens in new tab).

According to Disney Plus, the new Clone Wars episodes will "continue the storylines (opens in new tab)introduced in the original series, exploring the events leading up to 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (opens in new tab).'"
Created by George Lucas, with Dave Filoni as Executive Producer/Supervising Director, "Star Wars: The Clone Wars (opens in new tab)" stars Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex and the clone troopers, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan and Sam Witwer as Maul.
