Israel's first astronaut, Ilan Ramon, highlights the members of this diverse, seven-member crew who are to fly shuttle Columbia on a 16-day science research mission in Earth orbit. The crew will be split up into two teams to facilitate 24-hour operations. Of the group, McCool, Brown, Clark and Ramon are rookies. The Red Team is Husband, Chawla, Clark and Ramon. The Blue Team is McCool, Brown and Anderson.
