An improvement on the original Atom, we think the Potensic Atom 2 is the best non-DJI drones, and ideal for beginners. It's impressively well built and this deal gives you three batteries for 1 1/2 hour worth of flight time.

In our Potensic Atom 2 review, we called it "a fantastic little drone with some impressive features and good image quality". That still stands, and its size means you don't have to worry about the drone regulations applying to larger flyers.

With features like automatic take off and landing, return to home and subject tracking, it's an excellent purchase for beginners or those who prefer their drones to have a little autonomy.

It's capable of capturing video in 4K and photos in up to 8K resolution (though it'll only capture 8K in JPG, not RAW). You can take slow-mo video and its green flashing rear light is especially handy for night flying.

With three batteries (and a fast charger) you can fly the Potensic Atom 2 for over three hours (as well as a case and charging hub). If you switch to speed mode you can expect to get less air time but enough for a good session.

Key features: 8.8 oz / 249 g weight, 5.63 x 3.46 x 2.28 in / 143 x 88 x 58mm folded, 3 batteries, 4K video, 8K stills, return to home and auto take-off, 10km/6.2 miles video transmission.

Product launched: April 2025

Price history: Before today's deal, the Potensic Atom 2 Fly More Combo bundle was selling at an RRP of $480. It's a steal at $360 and if Amazon runs out of stock or if you prefer to shop elsewhere, it's the same price at Walmart.

Price comparison: Amazon: $360 | Walmart: $360 | Best Buy: $380

Reviews consensus: This is a fantastic little drone, packed with features, 4K video and 8K stills included, that stand up well to the competition. We awarded it four stars in our Potensic Atom 2 review, and we think it's the best non-DJI drone. Its Amazon reviews are similarly positive and as a sub-250g drone, you don't have to register it.
