Sand Dunes Mountain Meets Milky Way

Friday, April 29, 2016: The stars of the Milky Way make a dazzling backdrop for Sand Dunes Mountain at Arches National Park in Utah in this spectacular photo by accomplished astrophotographer Manish Mamtani. Mamtani captured the photo during a recent tour of the Arches and Canyonlands national parks. He sent this photo in to Space.com on April 22.
