Dr. Tiffany Vora, President of Explore Mars, is a scientist, entrepreneur, writer, and thought leader who lives in Silicon Valley. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry at New York University and her PhD in Molecular Biology at Princeton University with funding from NASA. Among other experiences, she was formerly a professor at the American University in Cairo, an Instructor in Bioengineering at Stanford University, and the Faculty Director at Singularity University. Previously, Tiffany designed and supported biology- and health-related research in Mars simulations at MDRS and FMARS.
Tiffany also currently serves as the Singularity Fellow in Biotechnology at Singularity University, a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the GeoTech Center of the Atlantic Council, Head of Space and Business Development at Astreas, and a regular contributor to EY’s Executive Learning Programs and the Emergence program for the Department of Homeland Security. She serves as an advisor and subject-matter expert for various international organizations. Using her expertise in the biotechnologies and the industries that they are revolutionizing, Tiffany has mentored startup founders, inspired companies to tackle humanity’s grand challenges, and supported governments and other organizations to prepare for a radically different future of life on Earth (and elsewhere).
