Robert Ferl

Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research, University of Florida
Areas of research include space biology transcriptomics, epigenomics, and proteomics. Also plant imaging, examination of 14-3-3 proteins, and examination of chromatin structure. Received a B.A. from Hiram College,
as well as a Ph.D. and M.A. in Genetics and Biochemistry from Indiana University. Since 1990 he has been Distinguished Professor, Horticultural Sciences Department at University of Florida, and since 2019 the Assistant Vice President for Research.
