Alexandra Jahn
Associate Professor of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Arctic Sciences, University of Colorado Boulder
Alexandra Jahn is an associate professor of atmospheric, oceanic and arctic sciences at the Institute of Arctic & Alpine Research (INSTAAR). Dr. Jahn's research interests are the climate of the polar regions, particularly the Arctic Ocean, with a focus on sea ice and ocean dynamics, as well as the modeling of geotracers, including miroplastics, isotopes, and idealized tracers. In the temporal space, Dr. Jahn's research spans past climates, the historical period, and future projections of climate. She is known in particular for her work on the future decline of Arctic sea ice and on the variability and change of Arctic freshwater.
