I am a computer engineer with a master degree in Science. I am a curious, tenacious and methodical person, very fond of general sciences.
In my undergrad thesis I developed a tool for transcriptome analysis, linking the skills learned at the university with the basic Sciences applied to Biology.
Within my master degree thesis, I performed bioinformatic analysis on big data over the transcriptome of a human endemic parasite in order to better understand how to develop strategies to fight the disease it produces.
I like challenges and I think on multidisciplinarity as the better way to understand complex themes. At this moment, my main interest is in the area of Astrobiology.
