The Holodeck
This summer, fans at Comic-Con: International got their first look at images and characters from the upcoming CBS All Access animated comedy series, "Star Trek: Lower Decks, which will follow the support crew on one of Starfleet's least important ships.
The 10-episode first season is scheduled to premiere in 2020.
Lower Decks co-creator and executive producer Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty) unveiled the voice cast and characters along with executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin.
The Starfleet crew residing in the eponymous "lower decks" of the U.S.S. Cerritos include Ensign Beckett Mariner voiced by Tawny Newsome, Ensign Brad Boimler voiced by Jack Quaid, Ensign Tendi voiced by Noël Wells, and Ensign Rutherford voiced by Eugene Cordero.
The ship's bridge crew include Captain Carol Freeman voiced by Dawnn Lewis, Commander Jack Ransom voiced by Jerry O'Connell, Lieutenant Shaxs voiced by Fred Tatasciore, and Doctor T'Ana voiced by Gillian Vigman.
Additionally, McMahan unveiled a first look at the holodeck of the Cerritos.
