Michael Liemohn is a professor in the Department of Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering at the University of Michigan. His primary research interest is space environment around Earth and other planets in our solar system. The main emphasis of his work is on quantifying the motion of electrically charged particles through the magnetic and electric fields in outer space. This effort includes the development and application of physics-based computer models used in conjunction with extensive data analysis.
