MISSION UPDATE: Chinese Spacewalk Underway

Chinese astronaut Zhai Zhigang has opened the hatch of his Shenzhou-7spacecraft to officially begin China?s first spacewalk.

"I am in good shape," Zhai said.

He plans to conduct about 20 minutes of activities outside,including retrieving a scientific test from the spacecraft?s surface, as wellas releasing a small satellite.
