gin-swilling Connecticut family, the Vandenbrink Carter is a hybrid three-wheel
car/motorcycle from the Netherlands that offers the safety of the former and the
sleekness of the latter.

You steer it like a car and it banks
like a motorcycle, and with a top speed of almost 120-mph, it's got a lot of
heart.
Dynamic Vehicle Control is what makes
maneuvering the tricked-out tricycle such a pleasure to drive. The system
responds to the vehicle's speed and the road conditions, adjusting its "lean"
accordingly.
However, at a cost of about $50,000, and
the fact that it's not sold in the U.S., chances are that for most folks it will
remain in the realm of science fiction for a little while longer.
