(low resolution) still pictures. It stores your shots or footage on 16MB of
internal memory. And you can hook it up to your PC to use as a Web cam.
The big advantages of the Pocket DV over other small still/video camera
combinations is its size, and the amount of video it can store without resorting
to tape. With no tape drive to power, the Pocket DV needs only two AA batteries
to run.
