Xenia Seeberg plays
"Xev Bellringer," the ultimate liberated woman, in the dark science fiction
comedy series Lexx.
Xev (or "Zev," as she was
originally called) grew up on planet B3K, a member world of the 20,000-planet
empire known as the Divine Order. A singularly unattractive orphan, she
was raised by holograms, leaving her poorly adjusted socially.
When her betrothed refused
to marry her, she was sentenced to become a love slave. The first part
of this punishment was a success, leaving her extremely beautiful, but
the second part -- brainwashing -- failed.

Since then, she has suffered a number of transformations, including being
killed and then brought back to life as a completely different actress.
To commemorate this latest lifestyle change, she is now known as Xev.
She continues to wander the
universe in the most deadly weapon available, the insectoid spaceship Lexx.
She is looking for trouble and love, mostly in that order.
Xenia Seeberg is a young
German actress who joined the Lexx cast two years ago. She is best
known to North American viewers for that role, but has also appeared in
several German films and television series, as well as one episode of SF
series Total Recall 2070.
