When you send your name, you may also choose to provide a message of up to 500 words explaining why you think the Kepler Mission is important. Your name, state, and country along with your statement will be given to the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum as a historical record of public opinion.

When you've completed registering at the Kepler Mission Names in Space website, you will be able to download a certificate of participation.
