William Sadler - Roswell's Sheriff Valenti
William
Sadler brings the experience of a 30-year acting career to Roswell's ingenue-filled
cast in his role as the implacable "Sheriff Valenti."
Raised on a farm near Buffalo,
Sadler began acting on the New York stage, where his groundbreaking work
would eventually be honored with Obie, Villager, Dramalogue and Actor's
Equity awards. He is best known for a broad range of character roles, including
appearances in such films as "Die Hard 2," "Disturbing Behavior," "The
Shawshank Redemption" and "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey," in which he
played Death himself.

Roswell, Sadler lives with his wife, Marnin Bakst, in an 18th-Century
farmhouse in upstate New York.
