Like some baroque alien aphrodisiac, the joy of Star Trek has brought yet another couple together: Patrick Stewart and longtime Trek producer Wendy Neuss.

Stewart and Neuss met on the Paramount lot, where she served as co-producer on The Next Generation and, later, Voyager. He, of course, is best known to Trek fans for his tireless efforts bringing Jean-Luc Picard to life.
Culminating a three-year engagement, the couple were married August 25 in an outdoor ceremony in Beverly Hills. The event was reportedly tasteful and subdued -- apparently reflecting the bride's wishes to have a traditional wedding.
Stewart had earlier voiced a wish to be married in a "full Shakespearean" ceremony "with period costumes and love sonnets."
Trek notables among the wedding party included Brent Spiner (Data), who served as best man. The rest of the Next Generation command crew were in attendance, including Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn and Jonathan Frakes.
Neuss is president of Stewart's production company, Flying Freehold Productions.
The couple are currently on a month-long wedding trip.
