Not much to see today, so space fans could be better off watching the skies than watching television. Diehards will have to make do with the first installment of Star Trek's legendary two-part episode, "The Menagerie".

(all times Eastern)

3:15 AM Star Hunter (TBS)
Predator rip-offs stalk a bus full of football players in this marginally inspired creature feature, to which Roddy McDowell and Stella Stevens lend their unique talents

5:30 AM The Twilight Zone (SciFi) - And When the Sky Was Opened
Astronauts return from a successful deep-space mission, but, like old soldiers, only fade away.

2:00 PM Lost in Space (SciFi) - The Raft
Dr. Smith takes Will on a two-person space raft, but can't seem to find the Earth.

4:00 PM Star Trek (SciFi) - The Menagerie
Spock is put on trial for helping now-paralyzed Captain Pike return to Talos IV, where he was imprisoned by aliens long ago. Reworked version of original series pilot. (first part of two)
