Groundhog Day isn't likely to do much for television fans with their eyes firmly set on the skies. Beyond the usual new episodes of the Wednesday night shows, only a few scattered reruns have much to do with space.

(all times Eastern)

2:00 PM Lost in Space (SciFi) - The Oasis
Dr. Smith feasts on strange fruit, only to become a paranoid giant.

2:40 PM Mars (Showtime Beyond)
Tense murder mystery/action flick set in a mining installation on Mars, whence the title.

4:00 PM Star Trek (SciFi) - Miri
A plague kills all of a planet's adult members but spares the children, leaving them with unnaturally prolonged lifespans. This spells trouble for one of the ragamuffin brats (Kim Darby) when she gets a crush on Kirk.

9:00 PM Roswell (WB) - The Convention
New episode! "Max Evans always knew his secret would eventually come out. He knew he couldn't hide forever." With
Jonathan Frakes.
