Louise Wischermann plays "Lyekka," the sensitive carnivorous plant, in the darkly humorous science-fiction series Lexx.
Soon after sprouting in the Lexx, Lyekka telepathically snooped around in Stanley's dreams, eventually deciding to take the form of a woman he'd had a crush on once.
In addition to telepathy, Lyekka can change shape and has many other unusual abilities. However, she needs to eat meat -- lots of meat, human or otherwise -- to survive.
Once the Lexx crew came to accept her dietary peculiarities, Lyekka became an accepted member of their dysfunctional family.
Glamourous and mysterious, Louise Wischermann is from Brazil. Lexx is the first time most U.S. viewers will be exposed to her.
