While the crew explores the planet, Gigerotta escapes her bonds.

The others arrive at the Brunnus Memory Chambers. A spectral recording of Poet Man – the only Brunnen-G who remained when the race abandoned the planet – welcomes them and opens the gates to the catacombs.

Zev and Kai enter the door leading to the Burst of Life, leaving Stan alone to puzzle the mysteries of the library.

Meanwhile, the Divine Predecessor brains remaining on board the Lexx summon Gigerotta, promising the cannibal woman passage to the storied Planet of the Milk-Fed Boys in exchange for her cooperation.

Poet Man points Stan toward a door he claims leads to love, but Stan's quest for love comes up short when a machine mistakenly identifies him as female. Poet Man decides Stan is the ideal receptacle for his seed.

Inside the Burst of Life chamber, Zev relives memories of abandonment by her parents and her training for the Wife Bank, then fantasizes about Kai being alive and in love with her. A Big Musical Number ensues.

As the dream ends, they find themselves strapped to a pair of tables. They then learn that the Burst of Life machine records their memories while rotating blades slice them in two.

The Burst of Life machine downloads and then bisects Kai. Elsewhere, a machine prepares to artificially inseminate Stan.

Gigerotta rescues Stan from his predicament, then deactivates the satellite control system. The countdown to supernova commences.

Stan tries to stop her. In the ensuing struggle, Gigerotta cuts off Stan's hand, gaining the key to the Lexx.

Maimed, Stan stumbles into the Brunnus memory bank, where he finds a message from the Time Prophet directed at him, telling him where to find Zev and Kai.

Gigerotta tries to use Stan's hand to control the Lexx. The ship doesn't respond.

While the Divine Predecessor brains convince Gigerotta that they need Stan to control the Lexx, Stan locates Zev and Kai..

Light from the mysterious star shines through the Memory Chamber's windows, filtering through Kai's memory disc before fusing the undead assassin back together.

Restored, Kai rescues Zev.

Meanwhile, the Divine Predecessors imitate Stan's voice to order Lexx to depart the planet. The combination of Stan's hand and voice does the trick and the ship takes off.

Stan reactivates the satellite control system, but it's too late. The countdown to supernova continues.

Gigerotta's moth returns to the Lexx, stranding the cannibal. The mysterious second star stabilizes the Brunnus sun, and the energy of the united binary draws the Lexx back to the surface.

The stars - Brunnus and Blue Star - speak directly to Kai and tell him that his arrival and destiny were preordained.

Prophetic agency aside, Kai decides to stay on Brunnus and succumb to the supernova. Zev convinces him to come with them.

The Lexx escapes Brunnus under Stan's command.

The twin stars explode. The resulting energy wave obliterates Brunnus. Gigerotta dies in the blast.
