Aboard the Lexx, Stan and Xev watch the broadcast as the kids make plans to party when they wake up

Aboard the Lexx, Stan and Xev watch the broadcast as the kids make plans to party when they wake up.

790 tells the crew that "as a result of their tampering, no signal was ever sent. They never woke up." The VW has drifted through space for 287 years.

Lexx World

Xev decides to check out the ship over the protests of 790 and Stan. When Stan refuses to join her, she takes a Moth over alone.

She briefly explores the ship, then manually activates Gibble's wake-up sequence. When she bluntly tells the youth what happened, Gibble exclaims, "my Dad's gonna be so pissed!"

After Xev revives the others and brings them aboard the Lexx, Stan tries to appear cool as he shows off the ship. When bad boy Enox tells his friends that "the gang will never believe this back home," Canana points out that the gang is centuries dead.

The tour of the ship continues with a visit to the cryo-chamber. Stan warns them not to touch anything, so of course they immediately start touching things.

The kids are impressed that Xev, Stan and 790 share their ship with a zombie assassin. They are disappointed when Stan refuses to wake Kai and show him off.

Xev leads them to the galley. Though most of the group finds the food extruded from the Lexx disgusting, Gibble consumes his portion with gusto.

Terror Lake!

Nice girl Canana tells Xev that before their mishap, they were headed for the planet Momo 13 and the beautiful lake Kissmekissme, "the number one party spot." According to legend, the lake is also the killing grounds of the Kissme Kid Carver.

Meanwhile, Stan explains to Gibble and wild girl Laleen that he once "basically saved the universe."

790 interrupts to tell Laleen that Stan also caused the destruction of her home world, Bingo 44. Stan brushes this off, telling them the robot is "due for rewiring."

Further discussion is abandoned when Enox shows up with alcohol, drugs and loud music. The kids commence their long-delayed party.

Enox gives Gibble the rest of their drug stash to hold. Xev and Stan watch from the sidelines as the teens enjoy themselves.

Gibble, obviously the fifth wheel of the group, leaves the party for the bathroom. He accidentally drops their drug supply into the toilet when confronted by the Lexx's organic sanitary facilities.

Stan's only the second most socially inept being in the universe

As the party winds down, Gibble tries -- unsuccessfully -- to put the moves on Laleen. Xev admires Enox's tattoos.

Jealous, Laleen attempts to seduce Stan, but he excuses himself. Xev follows suit.

Enox turns his attentions to Laleen, but she isn't having any. Frustrated, Enox stalks off the bridge with Gibble in tow.

Preppy Tad attempts to make time with Canana, but she protects her virtue.

In the cryo-chamber, Enox tries to wake Kai over Gibble's protests. Believing he has failed, he orders the sleeping assassin to kill everyone on board. "Stalk 'em and stuff. Waste 'em one at a time, in cool ways."

Stan finds them in the chamber and chases them off. Unnoticed by anyone, Kai wakes up. His eyes are yellow.

As Ted leaves the bridge, Gibble and Enox return. Enox tells him, "You are so dead, man!"

In her quarters, Xev is in the middle of her stretching exercises. Tad drops by and attempts to seduce her. She politely deflects his advance.

Undeterred, Tad throws himself on Xev, just in time to get caught by Canana. She runs away, and Tad follows her.

When he is unable to find her, he takes refuge in the bathroom.

Canana sneaks back into Xev's room and attacks her for "trying to steal my boyfriend." Xev sets her straight. They listen in, giggling, as Tad tries to raise Canana on his comlink.

A new voice comes on the link and starts taunting and threatening Tad. In the next stall, Kai rises up from the ship's plumbing. He announces, "You are so dead, man!" and attacks.

Kai begins stalking Laleen in the corridor. He mocks her from the shadows, and as she tries to locate the voice, Stan comes up behind her.

He tells Laleen that the "voice" was a figment of her imagination and offers to walk her back to the bridge. She invites herself to his quarters instead, but Stan hesitates until Laleen reminds him that technically she's centuries older than he is.

Gibble finds Tad's corpse stuffed headfirst in the toilet. He tells Enox, then confesses that he is responsible.

How so? Gibble believes that the drugs he dropped caused the toilet to attack and kill Tad. Enox doesn't believe this and sends Gibble off to find food to calm himself down.

Gibble goes to the galley, complaining that no one takes him seriously.

Canana asks Xev for romantic advice. When she can't offer any, Canana leaves to find Tad and reconcile with him.

Stew down, three to go

Kai's hand reaches up through the bottom of Gibble's bowl of food and grabs him. Kai pulls him down, and Gibble drowns in his own midnight snack.

Stan and Laleen play tag in his room. Stan again has pangs of conscience about cavorting with a teenager, but abandons them when she embraces him.

Before they can consummate their relationship, Laleen suddenly decides she needs to wash off the stink of 300 years in cryo-sleep. She promises to return after showering.

Canana looks for Tad in the galley.

Kai stalks the showering Laleen.

Something drips onto Canana from above. She looks up and discovers Gibble's body.

Laleen continues her shower. Stan waits for her in bed. Kai calls out to her. She believes it's actually Stan, and they engage in seductive banter.

Canana shows Xev and Enox Gibble's body. Enox decides the death is suicide.

Death by cliche

Kai reveals himself to Laleen and dispatches her with psychotic zeal.

Enox tells Canana and Xev about Gibble's confession of responsibility for Tad's death. Xev doesn't accept that he "gorged on food then hung himself out of guilt."

Suddenly, they hear Stan shout Laleen's name. They rush off to find him.

When they discover Laleen's body, Enox suddenly realizes what's happening. Stan encourages him to explain.

In the cryo-chamber, 790 informs them that the system's programming was corrupted. Xev announces that "Kai isn't Kai anymore." Enox explains that he ordered Kai to kill all of them.

Kai repeats Enox's exact orders as he stumbles through the ship.

Xev decides that their only hope is to abandon the Lexx and escape in the kids' shuttle. They set off for the hangar. Kai taunts them as they run for safety.

He reveals himself by dropping from the ceiling and killing Enox. Xev tries to reason with him and fails.

Split up, we'll cover more ground that way

She then orders Stan to get Canana to safety. Xev throws 790's head at Kai and runs, forcing Kai to choose who to chase.

Stan bundles Canana into a Moth and sends her to the shuttle. She launches while he goes looking for Xev.

Kair turns up in the Moth and kills Canana. When Xev and Stan check the Moth from the bridge of the Lexx, they find Kai singing a Brunnen-G battle anthem.

Stan orders the Lexx to destroy the Moth. The kids' shuttle is blasted to bits, but Stan and Xev fail to notice that Kai has dodged.

As Stan and Xev mourn the death of their zombie friend, Kai sneaks up behind them armed with an axe.

After recounting his history of murder for the Divine Shadows, Kai can't decide who to kill first. He considers taking a little bit out of each of them in turn.

As he raises the axe for the killing blow, he seizes up, his proto-blood supply exhausted.

Stan reprograms the control console to return the assassin to "Kai normal." They pump in fresh proto-blood. Kai comes awake, and grabs them.

He's sane again, however, and merely warns them to "be careful how you wake me."
