Crichton stoutly supports
D'Argo. "I think you are right," he says.
Aeryn' and Crichton show
their support by confidently standing at D'Argo's flanks.
"We will not be a party to
this," D'Argo says.
Stark rants about the evil
of the Plokavians. He dramatically announces that his world was enslaved
by them.
Standing alone at the other
end of the bridge, Crais puts on all his oily charm to try to convince
D'Argo. He claims the dampening net will help Talyn.
"I think I know how to help
Talyn," D'Argo says. "Why don't we break Crais' neck?"
"I am down with that," says
Crichton
Honeyed words and serpentine
tongue
Crais claims that killing
him would harm Talyn. As in the previous versions, he claims that he is
guiding Talyn, and only controls him "to a point."
"I could help with that if
you'd let me," Aeryn offers.
D'Argo says, "He won't. He
wants to keep Talyn's powers for his own selfish purposes."
Crichton says, "Yeah."
The Plokavians arrive - "ahead
of schedule." Stark shrieks for the others not to deal with them, but Crais
begins a civil conversation.
D'Argo and Zhaan have gone
to the scanner and seen that the ship is armed with a variety of weapons,
including novotrim gas. Stark lurks in the background.
"We can't let Crais get near
these monsters," Stark shout. Screaming "we have to strike first," he activates
the weapons console and blows away the Plovakian ship.
Crais produces the second
transponder and orders them off the ship. Stark panics.
