Aeryn: Oh, that's great. I get to stay on board with the blooming blue bush and you get to play with your favorite little trelk. |

Rygel: I'll have you know I'm an excellent cheater! I'm just not at my best right now. Rygel: Let go! There's no reason for both of us to die - I am a Dominar, and you are just you! |

Crichton: All right, no more Captain Kirk chitchat. |

WHAT HAPPENED
Moya visits the remains of a Budong, a creature whose bones dwarf the Leviathan.
Crichton is not impressed with Chiana’s choice of natural wonders -- in fact, he finds the moldering corpse disgusting.
Still, Moya is so low on supplies that Crichton has been reduced to trying to eat fried dentix grubs. Chiana is certain they can replenish their food supplies as the mining camp within the carcass. She’s been there before, although she had to leave after stealing from them.
Crichton isn't just hungry, he's sneezing., and he quickly learns it’s not because of a cold.
Zhaan staggers into the galley, her vegetable body covered with buds. Her condition is giving both Crichton and D’Argo violent allergic reactions. (more spoilers)
ANALYSIS
It’s hard to see much of a future in D’Argo and Chiana’s developing romance. He’s possessive and domineering, she’s a free spirit – maybe they should call the whole thing off.
Sure, opposites attract, but D’Argo shows affection by ordering people around and deciding what’s best for them. Chiana hasn’t put up with this in the past, and she has no reason to do so now.
She may find him attractive -- she finds most men attractive, no matter how weird they look -- but there’s no sign of the mutual respect that defines a successful long-term relationship.
No matter how it ends, their romance can still be an interesting story. But if D’Argo and Chiana want a happy ending, one or both of them will have to undergo some important changes.
This subplot also introduces some new complications into Farscape’s primary romantic relationship. Crichton’s feelings for Chiana are decidedly mixed, and Aeryn obviously feels a little threatened by her.
An open romance between D’Argo and Chiana will undoubtedly resolve some of those mixed feelings – but this is television, and the resolution is almost certain to increase the romantic tensions.
WHAT WE LEARN
We learn a little more about Chiana’s brother, though it’s entirely by inference. The two of them have roamed the Uncharted Territories together, and he apparently was protective of his little sister.
REALITY CHECK
Aeryn has a spacesuit. Why doesn’t she use it to protect herself from Zhaan’s spores – or possibly even to contain Zhaan?
Why not just shut Zhaan in the airtight transport pod – which could be left in the hangar, reducing Aeryn’s exposure – as soon as the effects of the pollen and spores on Moya were discovered?
TUNE IN NEXT WEEK
Zhaan reveals what happened after Crichton and D'Argo destroyed the Peacekeeper Base in "Dream a Little Dream". Is this the original season premiere that disappeared from the schedule?
