Shooting is scheduled to begin later this month for Clint Eastwood’s new film, “Space Cowboys,” Daily Variety reported on July 4
"Space Cowboys," a new action-adventure film by Clint Eastwood, is scheduled to begin filming later this month, Daily Variety reported.
Eastwood will produce, direct, and star in the film, which the magazine said will be about three former Air Force pilots who are called in by NASA to fly a critical shuttle mission. The crew will consist of Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, and James Garner.
According to Variety, Eastwood is casting younger actors to portray the pilots in flashback scenes. Earth-based characters include James Cromwell, Donald Sutherland, William Devane, and Marcia Gaye Harden.
