Majandra Delfino - Roswell's Maria De Luca
As
a native of Caracas and Miami, Majandra Delfino brings an authentically
Latin note to the cast of the WB's network's Roswell, a series set in rural
New Mexico.
On the program, Delfino plays
"Maria De Luca," the feisty best friend of protagonist Liz
Parker. Like her character, Delfino has already won a reputation for
being strong-willed and irrepressible. Three years ago, her parents, who
had had enough of her dramatic ambitions, gave her six months to either
succeed in the business or start fully concentrating on school. Acting
won out, however, as Delfino quickly landed a role in the film, "Zeus &
Roxanne" and remained in show business.

spent her childhood in ballet and as a member of all-girl Latin pop band
China Doll. Having just completed high school last summer, she now lives
in Los Angeles.
