Colin
Hanks makes his television debut playing "Alex Whitman" on the WB network's
new series Roswell, and yes, he is Tom Hanks' son.
Hanks grew up in Sacramento
and began acting as a student at Loyola Marymount University in Westchester,
CA. His professional career started on one tumultuous weekend when he landed
his first major film role -- in Cyrano update "I'll Be You" -- on Friday,
started work on the film the next morning, and learned that Roswell had
been picked up by the WB on Saturday evening.

the show -- and especially the characters of Liz
