Named after astronomical artist Chelsey Bonestell, the Chelseys have recognized outstanding artwork related to science fiction and fantasy since 1985


Named after astronomical artist
Chesley Bonestell, the Chesleys have recognized outstanding artwork related to science fiction and fantasy since 1985. They are chosen by members of the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists (ASFA), which includes artists, collectors, publishers, and the fans.

The nominees below introduced their works during 1999. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony Friday night.
