This 60-centimeter natural color image of the Statue of Liberty was collected by QuickBird on August 2, 2002. The Statue of Liberty underwent construction in France from 1881 to 1884, and was dismantled for transportation to America in the Spring of 1885. It now sits off the shoreline of Manhattan, known as a monument to liberty across the globe.
