Shuttle Mission Diary: NASA
Hanging Down Below
After a March 11, 2008 launch, the shuttle Endeavour is backdropped by a blue and white Earth as it approaches the International Space Station during STS-123 rendezvous and docking operations on March 12, 2008. The Canadian-built Dextre robotic system and the logistics module for the Japanese Kibo laboratory are visible in Endeavour's cargo bay, and a Russian spacecraft docked to the station is visible in the foreground.
