This graph shows the Sun is now at a high point in its 11-year cycle, meaning magnetic activity is high, and the heliosphere is contracted. Ed Stone predicts if Voyager doesn't reach the termination shock by 2005,it may take a few more years to get there because the heliosphere will recede from the decreased solar activity.
