NGC 185 is an unusual double star cluster lying in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. The large, center group of stars is thought to have catalyzed the formation of the smaller, younger cluster at the lower right. Globular star clusters do not exist in our galaxy. Click to enlarge.
