Stephan's Quintet lies within the box of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) image, the width of which is equal to three Milky Ways. Galaxy NGC 7320 C, no longer part of the group, barrelled through the system hundreds of millions of years ago and pulled out the Milky Way-long star cluster tail of NGC 7319. Click to enlarge.
