STS 101 spacewalk summary:

Crew --

  • Extravehicular (EV 1) crew member Jeff Williams
  • EV 2 crew member -- Jim Voss
  • Remote Manipulator System (RMS) operator Mary Ellen Weber
  • Intravehicular Activity (IVA) crew member / backup spacewalker Scott Horowitz

Williams and Voss are scheduled for a six-and-a-half-hour spacewalk on flight day four of the mission. Inside Atlantis, Weber will operate the shuttles Remote Manipulator System (RMS) or robot arm, while Horowitz as the IVA crew member assists the spacewalkers with checklists and keeping them on schedule.
