CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. Since 1994, Boeing and its top five contractors on the International Space Station program have contributed $6.4 million to members of Congress through their political action committees. The list, while not unusual for contractors that perform government business, gives an indication of the cozy relationship that exists between government vendors and elected officials.
