Two nebulas
and part of a third are visible in this star field caught by skywatchers Adam
Block and Tim Puckett.
Block and
Puckett aimed their telescope at the Van den Bergh 14 and 15 (VDB 14 and 15) reflection nebulas found in the direction
of the constellation
Camelopardalis (or the Giraffe).
“I really
love the delicate colors of the field,” Block told SPACE.com of this
view.
Block and
Puckett used a Takahashi 180 Astrograph telescope and an Apogee U9 camera to
build this view over several hours of observation.
