The space shuttle Atlantis crawls along the road toward its launch pad, as
seen from inside the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Managers
originally planned the Atlantis rollout date for September 2, but postponed
the move due to Tropical Storm Hanna's high winds and rain. The shuttle
finally moved
out on a crawler-transporter to its Florida launch pad on September 4.
The Atlantis crew is slated to perform final maintenance on NASA's Hubble Space
Telescope, and is scheduled to launch on October 8.
