I just saw a Jim Beam ad that will be a classic. It starts in a park with girls crowding around different guys with puppies one claiming he rescued them from a shelter. The next scene shows a kiosk in a different part of the park with a sign reading "Puppies For Rent". close(-)

I watched both series and I assume your expalnation is why I thought the Village was an enforced retirement home for wayward spies. Patrick McGoohan must have really liked playing the part of a spy as that was his occupation in "Ice Station Zebra". close(-)

I always thought the original was about a place where they sent spies after they decided they didn't want to be a spy anymore. Thats probably because Patrick McGoohan had previously played a spy in a TV series. close(-)

They also didn't mention any adverse effects from not having a large moon such as we have. As I understand it our moon keeps our rotation stable which in turn keeps the habitat stable. I assume that Mars wobbles on it's axis and at some point in it's history had a tilt greater than now or else all that moon stuff was hoey.

I have no problem terra forming Mars whether it has microbial life or not. It isn't very likely that without a lot of input from us humans that Mars will ever spring back into life. close(-)
