I listen to it occasionally when I'm driving if it happens to be on talk-radio. I have to admit though, I do change the station sometimes when a particularly crazy comment or association is made. I can't stand watching (listening) someone make an idiot out of themselves in public. I also get a bit disturbed by some callers and think that the hosts need to better screen quite a few of them.

I'll never forget the guy that called to tell everyone that the FBI and aliens were poisoning his water and stealing his poop.... There should be a big red button at CtC that does an automatic call-trace and alerts authorities to be prepared for a straightjacket party.

In fact, while I do listen to it sometimes I simply can't help but change the station when some woo psuedo-whackjob comes on and starts babbling nonsense as if it was fact. It really puts me off. All I can think of are the legions of people that eat this stuff up like it was candy and sit around, congratulating themselves on figuring out some mysterious quality of the Universe.

So, my listening experiences are.. garbled. I listen to it for a few minutes, turn the station for a few, then turn it back until something preposterous is uttered which causes me to repeat the process. close(-)

I'm a big fan! I think he's one of the best comedians out there! If it wasn't for him, I would also have trouble finding appropriate imagery to describe "huckster" and "exploitation artist." He keeps me entertained with his wild and crazy antics.

Of course, if he fell off the face of the Earth it wouldn't bother me much. I could just as easily find his quality of entertainment somewhere else.. like the Howdy Doody show. Then again, Howdy Doody did have some redeeming qualities to it. So, it may be a more difficult challenge to find RCH's degree of vacuous tripe somewhere else.

But, I have to give him credit - RCH pushes the limit of "stupid." He's a maverick in that area and well respected by fellow connoisseurs. close(-)
