If you take into account the eye witness reports of it being "acorn" shaped, then you can't leave out the reports from the same group of witnesses who described the object as making a semi controlled impact. Or even the reports of the markings, that some of the witnesses who were able to get close enough reported before they were escorted out of the scene of impact by military personnel. close(-)

I agree with Jim. I think that it's a little strange that it took all that investigating and a lawsuit against Nasa to find out about an old film canister, or a space probe. It that were the case, why couldn't they release that 45 years later? close(-)

I'm pretty sure it isn't a Leonid. You can see the fire emiting off the back of the object.
