Sorry guys it's very doubtful and there's no evidence (beyond heresay). Unless we are animals in a national park of some sort I don't see why these aliens are not showing themselves (officially at the UN building in New York). They will have travelled quite a distance to simply probe one or two people with active imaginations and go home. Also I don't see any government being involved in a conspiracy to hide evidence of "Close Encounters" of the second or third kind because as we all know governments are full of leaks and smoking gun evidence of all sorts, ask President Clinton about the stains on his clothes that became part of the Ken Star investigation and an imprechment procedure. A national government could not even bug the Watergate Building without a presidential resignation much less hold on to a BIG secret for decades. close(-)

Yea, the most modern theories on Moon formation seem to say yes it did happen. But can I ask a question. What happened to the Mars size object, afterall the Earth is still around? Does this mean that the Earth was once much smaller and the "new" Earth & the moon are a composite of the "old" Earth and a Mars size planet obliterated upon impact?  close(-)

Considering we went to the moon in '69 (a long long time ago) I wonder about the validity of the arguement that says the public will be more likely to support going there over and above a trip to Mars because "Joe public" will simply say "didn't we already do that"? Personally I think it will take a Chinese or Indian manned mission to the moon to get the Mars project into high gear. What those agencies lack in technology they make up for in determination so the technology will come in a decade or less. close(-)
