i-Cybie
Science-fiction fans have always dreamed of having robotic companions like R2-D2, Twiki from Buck Rogers, or even Rosie the Robot from the Jetsons — if only technology could catch up at an affordable price. With the new i-Cybie robotic dog, the future is now — for under $200!
This loving, lovable pet is much more than a toy — advanced artificial intelligence and an impressive array of sensors and motors give him remarkably lifelike qualities. Sixteen motors give your new pet a full range of motion, allowing him to roll over, lie down, dance, shake and more. In i-Cybie’s puppy phase, infrared sensors help him get accustomed to his surroundings, while voice-recognition programming helps him learn his owner’s commands. Soon, i-Cybie will obediently follow your voice commands — alternatively, get the behavior you want using the wireless remote to make i-Cybie perform one of 12 preset actions.
Programmed to be friendly and affectionate, i-Cybie wags his tail when happy and cheers up when pressure- and heat-sensitive sensors detect a loving pat. When it gets dark, light sensors in i-Cybie’s head tell him it’s time to sleep. And if he’s hungry, he won’t chew shoes or knock over garbage cans — he’ll just go into a sitting lotus position to let you know he needs his battery recharged.
