Golden Sky Systems, Inc., a Kansas City-based provider of satellite television services, today announced net subscriber growth of 12,400 for June 1999. This raised the company's total subscriber count to 297,000.
Golden Sky is a distributor of DIRECTV programming, which offers over 200 channels to subscribers using an 18-inch satellite dish. Golden Sky Systems, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Golden Sky DBS, Inc. The company serves both rural and urban markets.
