NASA's Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft gave the world its first in-depth views of each of the gas giants in the solar system as they tag-teamed Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune during their 12-year missions. The spacecraft are headed out of the solar system and carry gold records etched with sights, sounds — and a cosmic signpost — from Earth.
