Blue Origin Capsule Lands With Only 2 Parachutes In Test | Video

After successfully being lofted into suborbital space with three student payloads aboard, the capsule returned to Earth. The private spaceflight company tested a failure of one of the 3 main parachutes during descent. [Watch the entire event: launch, rocket and capsule landings]

Three payloads included: a dust environment experiment from Braunschweig University in Germany, a Perdue University study on how fluids take shape in microgravity, and a Louisiana State University and William Jewell College study looking into "gradient-driven fluid flow in the absence of convection." Read our full story on the launch here.
