Moon’s Farside Crosses Earth’s Face | DSCOVR Satellite Time-Lapse Video

Orbiting 1 million miles ‘sunward’ of Earth, a four megapixel CCD camera/telescope captured Luna crossing over the Pacific Ocean from the Deep Space Climate Observer’s point of view on July 16th, 2015. Its main mission is to monitor the solar wind, but the home-facing camera is of obvious benefit. (Full Story)
