Hot Young Stars' Radiation Will One Day Erase This Picture | Video

The Thackeray globules, thick clouds of dust that are silhouetted again the pink glowing nebula (IC 2944) gas, is under attack from ultraviolet radiation emitted from nearby stars. The cloud lies 6500 light-years away in the Centaurus constellation.
