Europe's Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) de-orbit burn and subsequent destruction is detailed. The Johannes Kepler, the second ATV to be sent to the space station, is scheduled to meet its fate at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean on June 21, 2011.
